Clauncher features a dialogue with Corphish, and Ash finally deduces that Clauncher would like him and Misty to battle in order to make your mind up which ones gets to capture him, which Clauncher confirms that has a nod. Misty happily accepts this, but before the struggle can even start, Clauncher is caught in Staff Rocket's possess fishing line.
